New and exclusive is a rounded corners 600x200mm matte white painted finish floating shelf with a weight capacity of up to 10kg exclusive to shelvingshop. Very simple to fit using the 48cm long x 3cm deep hidden bracket with all screws and wall fixings supplied for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. Weight capacity of all floating type shelves is vastly improved when fitting into a good condition solid/brick type wall or fitting to the studs in a cavity wall if the stud spacing and positioning suits. (Drill extra holes in the bracket to line up with studs as required (recommended). When fixing to gyprock sheet hollow cavity walls it is recommended to fix at least one fixing hole to a stud if possible. Hollow wall fixings available here Use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf). Please note the weight capacity of the shelf will be dependent on the strength of the gyprock wall sheeting if fitted directly into that type of wall surface but expect up to 10kg when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended wall fixings. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The gloss finish shelf can be fitted in bathrooms or damp environments.(not recommended for fitting inside shower cubicles).
