NB. Brackets are only as strong as the fixing to the wall so ensure correct fixings are used to suit weight capacity and the wall type.
Zinc plated finish fold down, fold away bracket , ideal for a fold away shelf or lightweight desk top. The bracket can be locked at 3 different angles of either 90 (right angled) 80 or 70 degrees, or fully folded away. Brackets should be fitted into studs in a hollow cavity wall or into a solid brick type wall for maximum weight capacity of up to 200 Kg per pair, depending on factors such as wall type, wall fixings used, and depth of shelf fitted to the brackets. Bracket dimensions are 400 mm x 270 mm. The brackets can be overlapped (by no more than a third of the bracket length) by the shelf which is being fitted. Note the weight capacity decreases with an increase in shelf depth. Multiple brackets should be used to support longer shelves.
